Smash records motion and workout data from your Apple Watch during padel matches. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Data we collect
- On your devices: every match you record — shot motion traces, GPS court positions, heart rate, calories and match metadata — is stored on your Apple Watch and iPhone.
- On our server, if you have an account: your profile, and each match you record. That includes the full recording: every detected shot with its motion trace, your court position trace, and your heart-rate summary. We keep the complete recording so your history survives a lost phone, so it can be re-analysed when shot detection improves, and so we can investigate when detection gets something wrong.
- Social content: comments and kudos you post, and a device token so we can notify you about them.
- Sign in with Apple: a stable user identifier and, on first sign-in, your email if you allow it.
Without an account, nothing leaves your devices. Recording works fully offline.
Who can see your matches
Every match has a visibility setting — private, followers only, or public — and new matches default to followers only. Visibility controls what other people see. It does not change what we store: the full recording is kept either way so the app can analyse it for you.
How we use data
To show your stats, power your Padel Score, enable the social features you opt into, and improve shot detection. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking across other apps.
Your choices
You can set any match to private, delete individual matches, delete your account in the app, and export everything we hold via Settings → Privacy → Export my data. Deleting a match or your account removes its stored recording from our server too.
